Rules for Deposits and Withdrawals
The gambling laws in Ontario are strict, and PartySports encourages all bettors to comply with these laws. In terms of payments, it starts with the limits.
The minimum you must deposit is $10 using any of the payment methods we’ve listed above. There is no unified upper cap for deposits on this platform. You can find your custom limit in the deposit limits section of your account.
Once you hit the limit, you can’t deposit anymore. Still, PartySports allows you to request changes to this restriction. Increase requests take 24 hours (cool-off period) to take effect, while reduction requests go through immediately.
The withdrawal policy is clever and protects PartySports as well as its bettors.
You can only withdraw with payment methods you’ve already used for the deposit. If you use multiple methods for deposits, you must withdraw an equal amount via the same payment method before choosing another option to clear the rest of your balance.
It takes up to two days for the internal team to review your withdrawal request and process it. Until the request is processed, you can reverse it. If you already have previous requests, the amounts may be merged.
PartySports requires account verification before processing payouts. It’s aligned with Ontario’s online gambling regulations. The star (*) marked options on the list don’t contain sports bets. Entertainment, for example, allows you to bet on events related to the entertainment industry. At the time of writing this review, the 96th Annual Academy Awards is an available option.
The Specials tab contains many props bets from a myriad of sports events. You’ll find numerous categories of special bets that further expand into multiple markets you can add to the bet slip.
The rest of the options on the A–Z Sports list will take you to dedicated pages where you’ll find relevant sports competitions. Remember that the path to competitions is not the same for all sports.
For example, if you choose soccer, you’ll get to further choose a country for the tournament. For tennis, you’ll directly get to choose from events, e.g., Australian Open, ATP Washington, ATP Los Cabos, etc.
Keep in mind that these tournaments are always changing depending on the time of year.
Sports Betting Markets at PartySports
In betting, a market is a particular event you wish to add to your bet slip. For example, you may wish to bet on the match between Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL.
You get to choose from a spread bet, total bet, and moneyline. Click on “All Wagers” to get a full list of the available markets. The options are numerous, including but not limited to:
- Full-time/half-time game lines
- Full-time/half-time totals
- Full-time/half-time spread
You can expect a similar scenario for all the other available sports in the main library. The available markets vary depending on what sports you choose. The markets for Canadian football will not be the same as European football (soccer).
At any given time, expect to find hundreds if not thousands of markets for soccer. It makes sense as it’s the most popular sport in the world, both in terms of viewership and betting volume.
Live Betting at PartySports Ontario Sportsbook
PartySports offers a Live betting section where you can wager on live events. The options you get depend on what events are available at that time. There is an A–Z Sports tab on the live betting section with the following sports:

The beauty of live betting lies in the odds changing in real time. PartySports updates the odds as soon as they change, and you can see them without refreshing the page. Look for a green arrow in the top right corner of the odds or a red arrow in the bottom right corner.
Another great thing about the live events is that you get more markets compared to fixed-odds bets.
The only complaint we have about PartySports is its selection of live-streaming events. You can either look for the live streaming icon on the events list or search “Media” right above the bet slip. Spoiler alert—streaming is only available for a handful of events, and you must be logged into your account to access them.
On the bright side, PartySports includes a 2D scorecard that updates the score for pretty much all sports.
PartySports Ontario Odds Formats and Quality
Like every other online sportsbook, PartySports includes the vig in the projected odds. In case you don’t know, the “vig” is the sportsbook’s commission for facilitating the bet for you. You can calculate the actual odds by removing the vig using online calculators.
In our experience, that’s not necessary at PartySports. The odds for all the events are highly competitive. We’ve compared it to some of the biggest names on Ontario’s sports betting scene.
The odds are only available in the decimal format, also known as European odds. We’d like to have the option to change to American, but it’s not possible at the moment.
We like the spread of the odds for different markets. When you choose one outcome over another, you do it for a higher payout. PartySports offers long odds to help you achieve this goal. Not many online sportsbooks do it, as they project the odds too close to each other.
